Sugaring & Waxing
Sugaring vs Waxing
Which One Is Better?
The short answer – both waxing & sugaring are effective at removing unwanted hair.
The detailed answer — it depends on a couple different factors, such as hair type, hair length, and any known allergies.
Waxing
Hair needs to be at least 1/4” or the length of a rice grain.
Our gel wax is applied in the direction of hair growth, wraps around the hair, & is removed opposite of the growth.
Discomfort is minimal and does not last longer than a few seconds.
Over time and with consistency, the hair grows in finer and more sparse.
Our hard wax is vegan, cruelty-free, & stripless for a comfortable experience.
An ideal solution for coarse hair with long roots.
May cause a reaction on those who have sensitive skin, or are taking certain medications.
A great option to go with on your first Bikini or Brazilian, or when you haven’t been waxed or sugared in the last 2 to 3 months.
Sugaring
Hair length can be half the length required for waxing & can still be removed from the root.
Sugaring is applied in the opposite direction of hair growth, removed with the direction of growth, and is THAT girl when it comes to minimizing hair growth & decreasing the use of clean up strips or tweezing.
Applying the sugar during the first couple of sessions can be uncomfortable, but it only lasts for a few seconds, & we help you through it! The benefits last longer than any discomfort.
Sugaring causes the hair to grow back slower, thinner, & decreases the amount of growth with consistent sessions.
A natural form of removal with only three ingredients – sugar, lemon, & water. Suitable for all skin types.
Not recommended for coarse hair or during a first time visit for a Bikini or Brazilian.
